Seeing the world from my wheelchair

Before my accident, all I wanted was to see the world.

There I was, living in the French Alps on a one way ticket and no idea when I'd return. Then came that one fateful day luck turned against me. From that day, it took me a little while to mentally adjust to my new life in a wheelchair, and it took far longer than that to become comfortable travelling again. Fortunately, I have, and I've now seen a lot more of this lovely planet earth.

Along the way, I've realised how much more difficult it is to travel with these limitations and I've met a lot of people that have found it to difficult to try. This blog will serve two purposes:
1 - Motivation for me to keep a record of my experiences and push me to keep having new ones
2 - Share these experiences so you can apply them to your circumstances. Hopefully I'll be able to inspire you, and you can use my experiences to maximise the joy (and minimise the pain) that you get from yours.
